Once upon a time there was a mom fish who had seven children. One day, the kids' mother went to go get some food. She locked the front door of the house and said, "Don't let any strangers into the house!"
"O.K. Mom," said her kids.
But while their mother was gone, the scheming shark would try to eat kids. He was very hungry.
When the mother was gone, the shark knocked at the door.
"Hello?" said one of the fish.
"Hello my dear children, your mother is home," said the shark.
"You are not our mother!" said the fish child, "Our mother doesn't smell like you! You stink!"
So the shark went to Wal-Mart and bought some perfume. He sprayed himself thoroughly and went back to the fishes house.
"Hello kids! Let your mother in!" said the shark.
"Sorry Mr. Shark, but I can see your teeth through the window!" said a fish, "We are much too smart for you!"
The shark swam away angrily. So he went to the store and got several pieces of pink bubblegum. He chewed them up and covered his sharp teeth with it. Then he went to the fish house.
"I'm home!" called the shark.
"Well, it smells nice, and there are no shark teeth. Shall we open the door?"
All the fish agreed and open the door. But they saw it was the shark and they ran and hid. One under the couch, two in the closet, one under the desk, two in a cabinet, and one in the toy box. But the shark found them and ate them. He ate six of the fish but could not find the youngest, who was in the toy box. The shark left and laid down to sleep. Their mother finally came home. She called for her children but couldn't find them. When she called the youngest he presently popped out of the toy box and said, "Here I am! The shark has eaten all the others!"
The mother fish wept over her children, but then had an idea. She swam to the shark's cave. She brought along her youngest child, a pair of scissors, and a needle and thread. She found the sleeping shark and cut his stomach. Out popped her six children! He had eaten them whole! Mrs. Fish filled up the shark's stomach with rocks and sewed his stomach shut again. They all went home. Later, when the shark woke up, he swam out of his cave. But the weight of the stones sunk him to the ocean floor and he died of starvation and a full stomach at the same time. All the sea creatures (other than the other sharks) were happy.
